Professional Fees
The fee is $75 for a 50-min session or $110 for a 90-min session, and is due at the time of service. In an effort to make quality therapeutic services more accessible, I may be willing to negotiate a sliding fee scale to those individuals, couples, and families with limited income. Please request consideration for a negotiated fee during our initial session.
Billing and Payments
Cash, personal checks, and credit cards are accepted as payment.
Insurance
Project Aspire currently accepts Medical Assistance (MA) and Preferred One. For other insurance providers, I can provide a receipt for you to submit for possible reimbursement. Please check your coverage to see if it pays for out-of-network providers.
The following are some of the benefits of paying out-of-pocket rather than billing insurance companies:
* When you bill your insurance company for therapy, they have the right to request assessment, diagnosis, and treatment information.
* Project Aspire is not obligated to share your treatment information with your insurance company unless you would like them to pay for your treatment.
* Paying out-of-pocket allows you and I to determine your treatment plan, not your insurance company.
* Some insurance companies may have limits on the number of therapy sessions you can have.
* Some insurance companies will not pay for couples and family therapy.
* You do not have to meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis to receive therapy.
* You have more flexibility in choosing what you would like to focus on during therapy.
